Rail

Banbury is on the main line between Oxford and Birmingham, served by trains from all over the country. Bloxham is about 10 minutes by taxi from Banbury station.

The Chiltern Trains services from London Marylebone to Birmingham Snow Hill service via Bicester/Warwick is usually fastest and most reliable (and regularly voted best UK train operator in the Guardian Travel Awards). From Oxford you will need to take a Thames or Virgin service.
