Isis Innovation Ltd

Cayenne has been working closely with Isis Innovation, the technology transfer company for the University of Oxford, since 1999. The website contains extensive information on the Isis' activities, including a searchable database of over 150 new inventions available for licensing from the University. Effective information architecture, a clean, fast-loading design, and robust site search facility ensure this wealth of information is readily accessible to a diverse audience.

CMIS: Democratic Management Software
CMIS is a leading democratic management solution for Local Government, acquired by Astech in late 2008. Cayenne worked closely with long-standing client Astech to develop a website for the system, including helping to source new copy and branding. We completely redesigned the CMIS website with a fresh colour scheme, eye-catching icons and flexible page layouts based on a strong, grid-based design. The site was implemented using the ExpressionEngine CMS, putting Astech in control of day-to-day publishing and including a fully integrated blog and user forum.

Football Betting Data
Football Betting Data is one of a suite of three sports websites developed by Cayenne for specialist publisher Oxfordshire Press, which provide live results and team statistics for the English Premier League and Champions League football. We developed a custom web application to process a raw XML feed of live match data and convert this to a permanent MySQL database. The application automatically extracts individual match statistics for visitors in real-time as well as calculating season-wide data for each team to compare head-2-head.

Red-Gate Software
Red Gate needed an "ingeniously simple" website to promote their market-leading tools for Microsoft SQL and .NET developers, and a complete redesign which wouldn't damage their painstakingly crafted search engine listings. Working closely with Red Gate's in-house developers Cayenne created a clean, simple design and then used "web standards" — semantic XHTML and pure CSS layout — to create a site which was both fully accessible and even more search engine friendly than before, including an accessible interface for Red Gate's custom shopping cart.

Oxfordshire Business Enterprises
This highly-regarded local enterprise agency, which provides support and advice for start-up businesses in Oxfordshire, needed an approachable, professional, easy-to-use and search-engine friendly website. Working with a relatively limited budget Cayenne developed a fresh, new design for this small but perfectly formed website. Integration with Adobe Contribute, with training and support from Cayenne, means OBE can now update the site in-house quickly and easily.
